This piece began with clippings from the stories about the fires in Sonoma as smoke filled the Tiburon Peninsula sky. The fire was reportedly contained as I looked out on the Richardson Bay. There are abstract images about the containment of the fire. The blue water and sky and the warmth of the raw wood are present. This piece is an expression of the shock we were all feeling at that time.
